Once in a lifetime: Dear Greenland…

Unbelievable! Indescribable! Remarkable! We can’t find words for our trip to Greenland in April. We already planned to travel in July 2020 and finally we made it in 2023. And I am really happy about the change because of Corona. So we decided to do the trip in the Arctic winter and not in the summer.

This was truly the best trip ever. The landscape, the adventures, the weather- really everything was unique. And in our talks with Inuit they said the same: Nobody understands the uniqueness. You have to see and experience it yourself. And we did!

Little Break: Copenhagen

Before we flew to Greenland we stayed for two nights in Copenhagen to explore the city and enjoy some rides at Tivoli.

In the first night I awoke at one o’clock and looked trough the window. Unbelievable! Northern lights! We ran to the rooftop and could see the lights for half an hour. What a happy moment!

Our place for one night: two igloos

What a sign for us: a heart in the sky!
The frozen lake in front of the igloos is a busy highway for dog sleds.
