During our last trip in August 2024 we were able to explore some parts of this beautiful region. But the distances are long so we decided to come back in summer 2025. This time we had enough time for a longer road trip: one week in Cape Breton, than the Eastern and in the end the Southern shore. And for every home base we have chosen a different kind of house to explore also different lifestyles. That was a great decision: In Cape Breton we stayed in a house in Margaree Valey and had beautiful views over the highlands.
A lake house in Pleasent Valley was our favorite.: no WiFi, a private lake access and unbelievable positive vibes.
For our last stop near Lunenburg we stayed in a cottage with great inlet views and a paddle boat.
